Welcome to Venice!
Yep, that is snow. Snow in Venice. Apparently they get snow about three times every winter. And it is winter after all.

In the “back alleys” you can see the delivery boats that supply everyone.
The only way to see the Bridge of Sighs is by boat!

Right across the canal from our hotel room Mozart rented this building and so there is now a tribute to him:
